Is an assistant professor in the Division of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He received his PhD in gerontology from the University of Kentucky and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch Sealy Center on Aging. He currently studies the epidemiology of dementia and cognitive decline in diverse populations and the healthcare utilization of older adults with and without dementia.
