Juan Manuel Torres Rojo


He is a Mexican citizen. Has a BA in Forestry from Chapingo Autonomous University in Mexico, and both a Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Forest Management from Oregon State University. He has been a researcher for the Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Forestales y Agropecuarias (INIFAP), director of the Comisión Nacional Forestal, and researcher for the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE), Mexico. He has been doing research and developing forest management systems in Mexico for 30 years.
